An Ordinance of the Town of Hamilton establishing a separate Capital Facilities fund in the Town of Hamilton Budget with specific categories including Fire equipment, Street equipment, Parks, Miscellaneous equipment, Miscellaneous loan, Repair Fund for existing Parks, and Water System facilities.

WHEREAS, the Town of Hamilton is preparing for economic development and town relocation opportunities in cooperation with Skagit County, the Hamilton Public Development Authority and numerous State and Federal agencies, and
WHEREAS, it is timely to move forward with an update of the Capital Facilities fund categories in the Town of Hamilton Budget to simplify the accounting and auditing process, and
WHEREAS, this ordinance specific categories including Fire equipment, Street equipment, Parks, Miscellancous equipment, Miscellaneous loan, Repair Fund for existing Parks, and Water System facilities, and
WHEREAS, Town Council has determined that taking timely action to update the Capital
Facilities fund categories in the Town of Hamilton Budget is in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF HAMILTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1., Purpose.
The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a separate Capital Facilities fund in the
Town of Hamilton Budget to provide accurate and precise accounting data for each component.

Section 2, Categories – Titles.
The following categories are here by established in the Town of Hamilton Capital
Facilities Fund:
1. Fire equipment
2. Miscellaneous equipment,
3. Miscellaneous loan
4. Parks
5. Repair fund for existing Parks
6. Street equipment
7. Water System facilities

Section 3., Effective date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
